Civil Litigation Paralegal

The Inland Northwest offices of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani are seeking a civil litigation Paralegal.  Ideal candidates will have three or more years of experience handling civil litigation and general liability matters.  Experience in the area of construction law and related project record keeping is a plus, but not mandatory.  This position is for a virtual paralegal role; however, candidates should reside in the Inland Northwest area for purposes of in-office and team meetings as needed for clientele.

Candidates should have a strong background and knowledge of litigation support and case management, including organizing files from inception through discovery and trial or arbitration. The ideal candidate should also have experience with ESI (electronically stored discovery), including working with outside ESI vendors and cloud-based ESI hosting platforms (for example, Relativity). Responsibilities include working with outside counsel and vendors, privilege and substantive document review and production, third-party discovery, exhibit preparation for motions practice and trials, and trial software (such as Trial Director).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• ABA approved paralegal certificate
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director

The yearly salary range is between $45,000-$90,000. This position is open to all experience levels. The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, including the location where the position is filled.
