Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an immediate opening for a Client Account Specialist in its Hartford office. The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, demonstrate good judgment, and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients while handling new matter openings and client billing. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that could potentially, with appropriate training and experience, become a hybrid or possibly fully remote position.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Effectively open and maintain client matters in the Firm database.
  • Distribute invoices to clients and carriers.
  • Effectively collaborate with the Firm Billing Department and Billing Attorneys.
  • Act as a resource for internal questions from the Billing, Appeals, and Collection Departments.

Qualifications:

 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Computer skills, particularly experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Nuance PDF.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Upfront or comparable billing software is a plus but not required.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience.
